A Most Welcome Visitor

My middle sister, Annette, lives in Wodonga (on the NSW Victorian border for my overseas readers) and on Monday she made the 6 hour drive and came to visit for a week.

It was wonderful to have her here and I knew that while she was here I wouldn't have to entertain her, she would just blend in with our crazy household. Philip enjoyed having her as much as me.

She is an early rising and so I tried to catch a little extra sleep as I knew she would look after Philip. They had a hour each morning just chatting and drinking tea before I joined them.

It was extra sad to wave her off this morning when she began her drive home. I tried to tell her how much the week meant to me but teared up but I am sure she knows!

Thanks Annnette - you are a one in a million sister!!!

I'm so glad to know you had some company. Someone to share with and lift your spirits a little. That's a lovely photo, of her and Philip for you to keep. Hugs from Ali.
