We all had a wonderful day last Sunday. Philip's mum came down with his sister and her husband and Bill and Mare and the most important of all - Nathan!

It was so great to have him with us, he had a great time playing with Uncle Bill and talking with everyone.

The even better news is I spoke with Michelle about Christmas day - we were going to have lunch at Bill and Mares - and she said she wanted Nathan in the morning and lunch to spend with her family but we could have him for dinner at night and he could stay the night and come with us all to Newcastle to see Philip's parents on boxing day. I am so pleased she has done that for us all, Philip's mum is very excited too.

Bill is almost as excited as us because he went a little crazy with Christmas presents for Nathan and wants to play with them with him. Ben, Philip and I will take our presents over instead of opening them in the morning so it will be a great day.

My sister and her husband are coming over for Christmas on the Saturday beforehand and hopefully Ben can get Nathan for the weekend so he can open his presents from them.

I am so pleased that things are working out - it must be very hard on Nathan and confusing for him. It is bad enough for adults in a breakup but even worse for kiddies. Hopefully now that he has made the move and come over and settle in okay there will be no problems in the future.

Radiotherapy
Philip's ear is very sore but doesn't seem to be weeping as much. The community nurse called in today and she thought the same thing.

I have been doping Philip up but he keeps saying he will put up with the pain which is so silly. His drs have told him that there is absolutely no reason for him to put up with pain so I have been giving him his usual daily meds and throwing in the pain killers so he doesn't notice.

I am so glad a little joy is coming your way Sooziii. Christmas sounds like a fun time.
It will be a wonderful pickmeup for all of you.
Do you put Philips extra meds in his corn flakes.

I'm so glad you got to see Nathan and that there's Christmas to look forward to as well.

I hope Philip's ear has progressed nicely in the last week. I like sMC's idea regarding the cornflakes.
